One of the important objectives of CouncilNet is
to provide a place where people who are concerned about Less Commonly
Taught Languages can exchange ideas and concerns and debate critical
issues facing this field. This section of the website will enable
asynchronous discussions on topics of interest to Council members
and other interested in language education in the United States.
Periodically, the Council may also host special guest speakers and
moderate on-line conferences.
