One of the most important objectives of CouncilNet is to facilitate communication among Council members and between the Council and others interested in less commonly taught languages. To achieve this goal, CouncilNet provides convenient access to a variety of communication tools and information about the Council and its members.

This section of the Website specifically includes the following features (although at this time not all features are fully functional):

• The CouncilNet Guestbook, which we encourage you to complete and submit;

• The CouncilNet Survey, which provides the Council and its membership with critical information about the field of less commonly taught languages;

• Secretariat Feedback, which allows visitors to CouncilNet to communicate directly with Council Headquarters staff; and the

• The CouncilNet Listserve subscription service, which allows Council members to subscribe to the Council's listserve.

Council staff encourage you to explore these different features, complete the guestbook, fill out the survey form, subscribe to the Council's listserve if you are a member, and participate in the CouncilNet open forum.
